Wamsutta Family Update 04/06/2018
Posted on 04/09/2018
Good afternoon, Wamsutta Families.  We had a very successful concert last night, and we are in debt not only to the teachers and students who worked so hard before the performance, but the parent volunteers who helped us set up for it.  Thanks to all involved.
We have a lengthy update this week, with a great deal of pertinent information.
Backpack Alert and Digital Notices:  Nothing on paper this week.  Attached is information n from SAGRA Field Hockey and a reading program available from Boston University.
  1. On Tuesday we will be hosting our PTO meeting at 6:30.  Please join us if you can.  We will be finalizing our plans for our Color Run registration.
  2. At the end of the month we will be kicking off our Choose H2O campaign with the students.  This healthy living initiative would not be possible without the help of many community partners.  To help gauge the success of this initiative, I am asking families to please fill out the following survey:  https://goo.gl/Zn5CUV  I will repeat this message over the next three weeks.  Please take the time to fill it out.  It would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Our curriculum calendar is up for the month of April.  You can find it on our webpage or see it here: https://goo.gl/J2NBxh
  4. The Attleboro Special Education Parent Advisory Council is seeking nominations from our community members for staff who go above and beyond to help students receiving special education services.  If you feel you or your students have been positively affected by a particular staff member, please take the time to nominate them for a Make a Difference award.  You can find more info here:  https://goo.gl/RnnA9t
  5. Next Thursday is both our Step Challenge Kickoff for our 5th graders as well as Crazy Hair Day.
  6. Next Friday will be a half-day for students with dismissal at 11:30, then a week off for April break.
