5TH Annual Dana-Farber Walk-A-Thon was held on Saturday, April 10,
2010 from 9:00am-1:00pm.
We, Wamsutta students and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, would like to thank everyone who contributed to or volunteered their time to assist this year's Walk-A-Thon. A special thank you goes out to Matt Delaney at Whitsons and the Marriott Renaissance Hotel and Spa at Patriot Place. Also, a huge thank you to Wamsutta's PTO for all of their help. Thank you Wamsutta's staff and students for helping to make this year's Walk-A-Thon such a great success.
Ms. Laura Woodward Liston was presented a check in the amount of $2,000. Laura ran the Boston Marathon to support the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge. All of the donations raised were given to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Thank you to Laura and everyone who supported this worthy cause. Thank you Ms. Stevenson for creating the huge check that was made out to the Dana-Farber Cancer Instuite.
