good morning
I had the pleasure of sitting on a debate in our National Security class today where students had to role play as members of the National Security Council. Students were making well informed and nuanced arguments that perfectly encapsulated how we do school at AHS: students engaged with relevant real world topics while working on our Portrait of a Graduate skills of collaboration and communication. Kudos to the whole class for a job well done.

Night to Discover
Chemistry students were busy presenting their consumer product research studies. Our portrait of a graduate skills were on display here! Students had to choose a consumer product- research components to serve as background knowledge then design, conduct, and analyze experiments on the product of their choice, testing its efficacy or toxicity. Great work all around!
