Please see the message from the Wamsutta PTO:
The WMS PTO is helping plan the 8th grade student vs, staff basketball game on Friday, March 20. This is a fun family event for all grades to come and watch. Doors open at 6pm and the game will start at 6:30pm. We will have concessions, t-shirts for sale and raffles at the event. We are looking for volunteers to help at the event - especially from the younger grades so that parents of students playing, can watch and enjoy the event. It's also a good opportunity for kids in need of service hours to volunteer! (See our sign up genius below)
The PTO is also seeking donations of snacks to sell in concessions, and raffle items. We typically raffle off gift cards to local entertainment venues and restaurants, and themed baskets. If any parents have local connections or workplaces that would like to donate a gift card or basket, we would greatly appreciate the support. We are also trying to assemble some fun baskets that would appeal to the students. If you would like to donate one or two items small items, here are a few baskets we are trying to fill:
Gaming basket: Looking for items such as video game gift cards, board games, card games, etc.
Snack and candy basket: Any type of snack or candy that your middle schooler would enjoy
Self care/spa basket: face masks, nail polish, candles, Ulta or Sephora giftcard
Any donations can be dropped off at the school in the office. We would like to get donations by Monday, March 16th, to allow time to prepare for the game. As always, the PTO appreciates your support and participation. If you have any questions, please email wamsuttapto@gmail.com
